Like to sample the delights of our designers?
Each week, commencing April 2nd, N4D will feature two designers and you will have the opportunity to purchase their kits at a special designer promotion price.
Using the same colour swatch, each individual kit has been created to bring you a wonderful selection of goodies.
If you decide to purchase more than one kit it will be colour co-ordinated.
Kits will go on sale at $A3.50 ($2.50 USD) for a few days only before reverting to their regular store price of $A5.00 ($3.50 USD).
To see which kits will be released first you will need to visit the store on April 2nd!

Go to the sixth picture.
Put the picture on my blog along with a description of it.

ADVENT CALENDAR © graphics illusions 2008
Supplies to make:-
canvas (approx 60cm x 90cm or to suit)
acrylic paint
foam roller brush
35 matchboxes or similar
1 larger box
assorted papers (plain & patterned)
stick on numbers (e.g. felt or vinyl adhesive)
double sided tape
double sided foam tape or similar
velcro sticky dots
printed labels to fit narrow side of boxes — Merry Christmas, bon Natale etc

selection of small gifts & sweets
Apply 2 coats of paint to canvas, let dry between
Wrap boxes with patterned & plain papers (secure with double sided tape)
Attach numbers
Arrange boxes on canvas using matchbox in between as spacer
Apply double sided tape to the 10 boxes that will become shelves & attach to canvas
Insert gifts in the remaining boxes & attach to the canvas using Velcro dots
(note: the boxes placed on the shelves are not secured)
Cut out a large & medium sized star & position at top of tree
Attach a small piece of foam tape to the smaller star & attach to the larger before adhering to the canvas
Decorate & embellish the canvas further as desired
e.g. stars, glitter, etc

Has to be seen to be believed! When one can barely thread a sewing needle without the aid of a magnifying glass seeing what this man has done is incredible!
